Werewolves of London

by Warren Zevon (1978)

Though the outright howling in the song might add a little confusion, Warren Zevon’s “Werewolves of London” is not about actual werewolves but, instead, about those with werewolf-like lifestyles, who prowl about city streets, such as London’s, late at night, having been transformed by the weekend moon into pure predators of appetite, though remaining, as Warren reminds us, well-dressed and with impeccable hair.
